How We Lift

There are different methods to level concrete that has broken or sunk. Now, let’s talk about two common repairs to level concrete that has broken or sunk.

Mudjacking vs POLYcrete

A traditional method to repair concrete is “mudjacking” or “slabjacking” which is done by injecting a cement mixture or “mud” under the concrete to lift it. However, mudjacking requires heavy equipment, heavy materials, and a nearly 2″ hole in your concrete to pump the mixture through. Mudjacking repairs may be less costly in the short term, but usually cannot deliver the same results or same guarantee as more advanced methods, like POLYcrete.

Mudjacking vs. POLYcrete Concrete Patches

POLYcrete, on the other hand, uses polyurethane materials that are lightweight and permanent. Our repairs won’t add weight to your already sinking concrete, and doesn’t erode or break down over time. Also, our repairs are done using only a dime-sized hole through the concrete that is hardly noticeable after patching. Lastly, POLYcrete installations use equipment that is less invasive. We are able to complete concrete lifting using extension hoses so that concrete leveling can be performed without dragging equipment through your yard or home.
